In April 2022, Leeds Museums and Galleries (LMG) organised Oral History training for the full Team from both Montserrat and Cayman Islands (20+ people received this training). It was carried out by Sarah Lowry from the Oral History Society. 

LMG also arranged for the procurement of recording equipment for the Montserrat National Trust team for capturing oral histories which will remain online for use during and after the project ends. 

Over the summer, the MNT team collected Oral Histories from the community on the uses of Medicinal plants (using the art pages created by the Field Studies Council to stimulate discussion). The information collected was used to supplement the art pages to create an educational pamphlet on Medicinal Plants from Montserrat.
